Why do we Cut Holes in Our Ceiling?

June 10, 2015

Do you remember when you were a kid, and you knew you could jump off the washing machine with a cape strapped on your back and seriously fly?   It seemed like such a great idea at the time.

Recessed or can lights fall into that category. A great Idea at the time, but who ever thought you could cut a hole in your ceiling without sealing it?  And what are the consequences, what does it cost us?

What is the fundamental purpose of a home? First, protect your family and your belongings and second to provide comfort from the elements out side your home.  When a home performs these two purposes we are happy.

And the we start messing with a good thing like

Insulation and dirt just inches from your living area, falling on to your kitchen counter.
